How It Works
This product utilizes several key ingredients to form a safe and effective mixture of lightening agents. The main ingredient, Glabridine, is derived from licorice extract. It has a powerful anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory action and inhibits melanin production. It breaks down into Kojic acid dipalmitate once it enters the cells, making it more stable against heat, light, pH changes and oxidation than topical Kojic acid. Hydroquinone-free
Another key ingredient is Arctostaphylos Uva-Ursi, which is a vegetable extract obtained from the Bearberry. It aids the product by inhibiting tyrosinase (which allows for the production of melanin, i.e., the spots) and then also by degrading existing melanin.
